John Clappison Muramics

"Girl with flowered dress"

The above 4-piece muramic was made by John Clappison at Hornsea pottery in 1966, as a one-off for an
exhibition at the Ceylon tea Centre in London, but is now sadly lost.
(The picture was taken from the Decorative arts (Studio) yearbook 1968/69).
The same design revisited 40 years later.

The muramics shown below are from the new series, designed and made in the style of the earlier ones,
Signed and numbered on the reverse of each.
